This depends in the specific reason you have been referred, and if additional testing is needed. On average 40-90 minutes. 

Yes. We are a privately run practice hence there will be a fee. For more information about fees please call the practice.

A current and relevant referral entitles medicare card holders to the eligible medicare rebate for their consultation or treatment.  

If you have a current referral and medicare card, medicare will rebate you for your visit. Some but not all tests have a rebate. A rebate does not cover the full cost of your clinic consultation/ treatment , and there will be an out of pocket fee. 

Please bring with you your glasses, a list of your current medications, your medicare card and your private health fund details.

Also bring with you copies of any relevant blood tests or scans.   

You may need to have your eyes dilated, which means you will not be able to drive for 3 hours afterwards.
